A recognised three-year degree/national diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems/ Informatics / Software Development or a relevant equivalent qualification. A Business and Systems Analysis Certificate/Diploma from a recognized training institution will be an added advantage.

3 – 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst • Extensive experience in Technical Writing • Experience in communicating with clients and facilitating workshops • Planning and organizing • Implementation and roll out of system changes• Systems testing• Compiling of user manuals. Business Change Life Cycle • System Development Life Cycle (Waterfall, Agile, RUP) • Quality Management Framework, SOA, TOGAF • Technology: Knowledge of MS Office Suite including MS Visio Time •Management • Ability to Manage own Workload and Timelines


Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports •Perform Business Analysis by investigating technical problems and/or opportunities for system enhancement in detail• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats• Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures •Schedule meetings with business •Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications

Breach the gap between developers and business • Schedule workshops, interviews, one on ones or other elicitation methods to gather functional and non-functional requirements •Implement requirement gathering techniques that will assist bot business and ICT •Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues •Compile business requirements functional and non-requirements •Compile workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications •Conduct system analysis for new and existing systems •Compile user specification for new systems as well as for major changes to current systems

Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures. Provide proactive training on changes to systems and/or programs and newly developed systems• Develop and maintain all relevant system documentation and training materials • Translate requirements and assist with the architecture design for different projects • Reengineer process with gaps, redundant process and overlapping processes •
